My builder handed me a key today! The house is officially dried-in. All of the doors and locks are installed.

One of the most incredible things is how warm and quiet the house stays. When you shut the massive Intus doors and lock them closed, everything that is outside disappears. Cars and trucks pass by in silence on the road below and suddenly indoor noises become much more vibrant.

Place your hand on one of the triple pane windows and you would not know it is cold outside if it were not for the snow on the ground.

I’m thrilled the house is living up to my notion of quiet-comfort. It is a comfort you can settle into while enjoying an evening watching the great outdoors in Maine!
